I have an interdisciplinary background in sustainable development, climate change, social justice, and urban planning. I have six years of research experience and two years of sustainability consulting experience in strategic environments. Through current and previous positions on sustainable development and environmental-related topics at specialised agencies of the United Nations and research institutes in six different countries, I am experienced in devising strategies, developing and managing projects as well as strategic models to solve sustainability challenges that governments, public and private sectors are facing.
- Support the development of a regional strategy for Southeast Asia through research, stakeholder mapping, and strategic analysis. - Contribute to the design and coordination of a regional grantmaking portfolio aligned with mitigation priorities. - Conduct horizon scanning and power analysis to inform planning and ecosystem engagement. - Facilitate biannual learning sessions and quarterly check-ins with grantees to monitor implementation progress. - Build and maintain relationships with partners, peer organisations, and government stakeholders in SEA. - Support funder coordination efforts and regional climate philanthropy development initiatives. - Conduct regular evaluations and monitoring of the effectiveness of ongoing sustainability programmes
- Responsible for Energy Transition Partnership (ETP) programme development and implementation, portfolio development, and coordination between teams, partners, and stakeholders - Contribute to knowledge management and resource mobilisation - Coordinate the Fund's programmes in concert with the ETP's Secretariat in Vietnam, under the Rules and Regulations of UNOPS, and in accordance with the strategies approved by the ETP Steering Committee
- Deliver a range of teaching and assessment activities, including tutorials and seminars for the Environmental Technology MSc (Urban Sustainable Environment Option, Environmental Resources Management Option, and Critical Thinking) and Allergy PG Programme - Support data collection and research activities for a project investigating the health impacts of HS2 construction around Euston station.
- Investigated and analysed the ESG practices and performances of 15 Japanese enterprises - Supported the local enterprises to develop and improve their ESG initiatives - Devised a sustainable business model that aims to generate environmental and societal surplus - Tracked the dissemination of knowledge on sustainable development goals (SDGs) within a local business
- Conducted data collection and analysis of environmental management issues in Vietnam - Reviewed, edited, and translated reports and policy briefs - Worked with governmental agencies to devise strategies to improve environmental management in Vietnam
