I am an aspiring professional and academic who loves languages. I aspire to do diplomatic translation, though I have the long term goal of running my own language academy with an emphasis on East Asian languages. My proudest achievements thus far include graduating from college, studying and interning in Taipei for a year, and helping students master Chinese pronunciation, and I'm excited to add to that list.

After graduating, I decided to take some time to develop skills and orient myself towards my future life and career. I focused on language and some side projects while expanding my horizons in East and Southeast Asia. From this experience I gained direction and feel further established in my language ability and my capacity to operate in intercultural contexts.
