Dental insurance verification. On autopilot. CEO @ Verora AI

Georgetown, Texas, United States

About

I've always been drawn to challenges that demand both strategy and grit. From leading soldiers in the U.S. Army to rebuilding untapped sales territories into multimillion-dollar growth engines, I've built my career around taking on hard, ambiguous problems and turning them into opportunities. Every step has pointed toward this one. Today I'm the full-time CEO of Verora AI, where we're building AI that takes the most painful, manual work in dental and healthcare operations — insurance verification, eligibility, and revenue cycle management — and makes it fast, accurate, and trustworthy. Practices lose enormous time and revenue to broken back-office processes. Our mission is to give that time and money back, so providers can focus on patients instead of paperwork. Stepping into this role full-time is the natural extension of everything I've done before. The Army gave me the foundation: resilience, adaptability, and the ability to lead teams and make decisions under pressure. At Wesco Anixter, I built sales strategies that drove 130% growth and opened new enterprise accounts. At Alvarado-dormakaba, I turned a cold, underperforming region into a multimillion-dollar performer in under two years. Most recently, as an Enterprise Business Development and Client Partner at dormakaba, I worked directly with the leadership of major airlines and airport authorities across North America — building trust at the executive level and aligning complex security solutions to real outcomes. I did drop out of a Master's in Enterprise Risk Management at Columbia University. However, this experience sharpened how I looked at risk, workflows and blast radius. long-term value creation — exactly the lens a founder needs when building something durable. For me, leadership has never been about closing a single deal. It's about building ecosystems of trust, aligning technology with strategy, and helping people navigate complexity with confidence. At Verora AI, I get to do that at the foundation — building a company, a team, and a product that earn that trust every day. If you're working at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and operations — or you just want to compare notes on building something from the ground up — I'd love to connect.

In this role, I serve as a strategic partner to major airlines and airport authorities across North America, helping them modernize access control and security at scale. Each month, I’m responsible for driving complex, enterprise business development strategies by direct client engagement and a consultative approach that removes reliance on integrator channels. My focus is on aligning advanced airport security technologies with complex compliance and operational demands — and ensuring solutions don’t just install, but actually solve problems. Working closely with product, engineering, and executive teams, I translate client needs into results that strengthen long-term partnerships and fuel sustainable growth.

      May 2023 - Jul 2025 · 2 yrs 3 mos

When I joined Alvarado-dormakaba, the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West had little presence and almost no active pipeline. I took that challenge head on. By reshaping the go-to-market strategy, identifying key accounts, and building a new engine for growth, I transformed a cold territory into a multimillion-dollar performer. Within two years, revenue more than tripled, six-figure deals became the norm, and the division was positioned as a serious competitor in the enterprise security space. This role demanded equal parts hunter, strategist, and builder — and I thrived in every aspect.

  • Business Development Manager at Wesco Anixter
    Jul 2021 - May 2023 · 1 yr 11 mos

At Wesco, I focused on access control, video surveillance, and life safety solutions — working with businesses to modernize their security posture while also improving operational efficiency. My approach combined technical understanding with a strong sense of how risk, flow, and user experience intersect. I led a regional growth strategy that targeted overlooked markets and underutilized segments. By launching a vertical sales initiative and mentoring a team of four account managers, we increased SMB sales volume by 130%+, landed new enterprise accounts, and built a repeatable growth model. I also streamlined operations behind the scenes — improving CRM adoption, aligning cross-functional processes, and using analytics to drive smarter territory decisions. The result? More wins, better deals, and a stronger pipeline.

  • Sergeant at US Army
    Nov 2016 - Oct 2020 · 4 yrs

My primary mission was leadership and operational readiness. I led a 12-soldier team, taking direct ownership of all logistics, supply, and training for our specialized unit. I focused on turning potential into performance, designing and executing training programs that dramatically improved my team's proficiency and prepared subordinates for their own leadership roles, even under high-pressure scenarios. By overhauling supply and operational procedures, I significantly improved mission readiness rates and cut equipment downtime, establishing a culture of disciplined excellence and continuous operational improvement.
