Thomas Schneberger, former Managing Director of ias Unternehmensberatung GmbH, former Head of Corporate Health Management at RWE AG, has been an experienced manager, project manager and management consultant in international corporations for more than twenty years.Thomas’ areas of specialization are strategy and organizational development, process optimization, change and information management. He has a proven track record of managing both national and international projects as well as business functions in a variety of industries including IT, chemistry, steel manufacturing and energy. As a project manager with Oracle Corporation and lateron line manager in BASF he was amongst other projects responsible for the development, implementation and integration of worldwide processes and organizational units in the Automotive Refinish Division, as well as for Marketing Services for Europe, Middle East, Africa. In RWE Systems AG he helped to transform the merged former IT departments of the RWE companies into a unified IT-service provider for the RWE corporation. As Head of Organization and IT in RWE Energy AG he had to manage the challenges of organizing a newly formed corporation and cutting IT-spending by more than 40% at the same time. As a Partner in the Inhouse Management Consulting firm RWE Consulting he steered a variety of strategic business projects. September 2009 Thomas was appointed Head of Corporate Health Management in the newly established Center of Expertise for RWE in Germany. Thomas holds degrees in Business Administration and Computer Sciences and serves occasionally as a guest lecturer on strategic issues at a University for applied Sciences.
