Specialities: Project Management, Safety Critical Systems, Control System Design, Communications Systems, RTOS, Automation, Alternative Energies, Languages When growing up in the USA I spent summers visiting family in Brazil. This has allowed me to be very comfortable dealing with other cultures and languages. After moving to the UK I earned my master’s degree from The University of Southampton where I won several awards for my work. Since kicking off my career I have worked as part of a small team of R&D and Automation engineers at Hyster-Yale’s Engineering Concept Centre. My primary role is Lead Embedded Software Developer. Although, I enjoy putting my hand to everything from Alternative Energies to Production Engineering. I have continued my international experience during my time at Hyster-Yale through regular work with facilities in Italy, the US and Brazil. In 2018 I moved to Vienna to begin my career at TTControl. I initially worked as an embedded software developer on safety critical systems. Where I gained experience working as a team in order to improve iteratively improve the quality of the products. During this time I was grateful to join the first round of TTControl's Talent Wise program where I was encouraged to move my career into managment. I began my career as a project manager in 2022 with successes in several demanding situations. Needing to mitigate the risks of the global chip shortage and ensuring team motivation during the pandemic. Despite this I was grateful for the opportunities as it gave me the chance to prove my resilience and learn the worth of several project management techniques which are ofeten over looked such as stakeholder and and risk analysis.
