During my seven years at MEA as Director of Sales and Marketing, my primary responsibility was meeting and onboarding new utility, contractor and supplier members for this 110 year old association. Highlights: --Positive growth every year at an ever-increasing rate. Responsible for 380 new member companies (out of 464), plus the addition of ~400 non-member subscribers. --My personal contribution was highlighted in mid-2012 by my abrupt 6-month medical leave to recuperate from a severely broken knee, when sales stalled. Member and subscriber growth resumed upon my return. --Sales of our core product, EnergyU, increased 83% during my tenure as the only salesman. --Responsible for promotion, coordination and sales of member sponsorships, which increased six-fold under my leadership. As an association, not-for-profit MEA pays no dividends, and our revenue was too high... this sales success resulted in TWO successive dues DECREASES, with several more 10% reductions planned for coming years. I regularly met and surpassed every incentive plan available.
