With nearly three decades immersed in the Circular Economy and Sustainable IT Lifecycle Services, my journey has been driven by a passion for creating technology solutions that respect our planet and empower businesses. Today, as President EMEA at SK tes, I lead a dynamic regional team committed to setting new benchmarks in sustainability and operational excellence. Our work is not just about processes—it’s about shaping a future where technology and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. I focus on building strategies that combine innovation with customer-centricity, ensuring that every solution we deliver contributes to a more circular and resilient economy. The recognition as one of the most inspiring figures in global recycling is not just a personal honor—it reflects the collective impact of our team and partners in redefining what’s possible for the industry. Looking ahead, my vision is clear: to accelerate the transition toward sustainable technology ecosystems that create lasting value for businesses, society, and the environment.
Today, in my role as President EMEA and Chief Executive of the European Holding at SK tes, I oversee operations across 16 sites with more than 600 employees and manage the consolidated P&L for a region that is vital to our global services. My focus on sustainable practices and customer-centric solutions continues to reinforce our leadership in innovation. As a member of the Executive Committee (EXCO) of SK tes Group, I still contribute to shaping the global strategy of the group, ensuring alignment with our core values and objectives.
In my dual role as Executive Director of EU Holdings and interim COO following the acquisition of TES by SK, I was entrusted with stabilizing operations and ensuring a seamless transition after the departure of the previous board. This COO assignment was a strategic mandate to provide continuity and accelerate integration during a critical phase of transformation, culminating in a successful handover to our Korean colleagues. As part of this transition, the COO responsibilities evolved into a strengthened regional operational authority, while compliance and security functions were transitioned to the Chief Security Officer (CSO). My leadership focused on driving operational excellence and advancing the circular economy, with a strategic emphasis on IT Lifecycle Services and Battery Recycling. Today, with over 2,600 employees across 40+ sites in 20+ countries, we are setting global standards and ensuring compliance. Our team’s commitment to environmental management and sustainable solutions has positioned us as industry pioneers.
As Global Vice President and member of the Group Executive Committee (EXCO) at TES, I led the Global Battery Operations business unit, owning strategy and P&L. I developed and executed the global go-to-market strategy for TES’s battery recycling business, establishing a footprint in Singapore in March 2021, and subsequent in China and Europe. My leadership transformed TES from a start-up into a global service provider for the automotive supply chain, with a strong focus on increasing enterprise value ahead of the successful exit of private equity owners NAVIS in April 2022. TES’s facilities in Asia and Europe enable a closed-loop cycle for lithium-ion batteries, allowing scarce metals to be reused in new batteries for mobile devices and EVs.
