In this assignment I managed Tchibo´s sales activities in food retail channels, drugstores etc. The business in these channels is based on selective distribution serving about 15.000 depots for Tchibo food and non food products as well as more than 30.000 depots for the secondary Gala brand. In this position I was able to rely on a team of more than 260 HC´s working internally, in Marketing and Key Account or within the field forces. Reporting line was directly to the executive board.
In this assignment I was in charge of heading general sales projects within the international and local Tchibo organisation. As a parallel assignment I was heading a sales and retail organisation called "Tchibo Prozente" which is responsible of marketing the remnants of Tchibo´s core retail activities. This position was reporting directly to the executive board.
The mobile imaging sector is an important challenge for Kodak´s future. For this business segment Kodak expects extreme growth since the quantitative and qualitative penetration of mobile phones with built-in cameras will boost over the next few years. With this assignment I joined the Kraft business unit within Kraft Foods. Major brands of this unit are Philadelphia Cheese, Kraft Ketchup, Miracoli, and Miracle Whip. - Responsible for our business relations with the Tengelmann group, the Markant group and Lidl Discount (major german discount retailer). - Heading a group of 15 HCs including 2 National and 8 Regional Key Account Managers. My team was the only sales team within the Kraft business (out of four) that reached or overachieved their targets for 8 consecutive quarters.
Major brands of the Suchard division are Milka - the leading chocolate brand in Germany - and Toblerone one of the few worldwide brands of Kraft Foods. - Responsibility covered Milka tablets and Toblerone which counted for about 50% of the Suchard business in Germany. - 2 Assistant Brand Managers reporting to me. - In charge of the execution of an international full scale relaunch of the whole Milka portfolio based on an improvement of the production process and adjustment of the basic formula for the Milka chocolate mass. It involved the whole process starting from product development and testing up to all in-market activities including packaging and development of ATL and BTL media and sales activities. My responsibility included the coordination of this relaunch accross the whole marketing and sales department as well as the international coordination. - Furthermore I had the opportunity to work on the preparation and launch of new product concepts and line extensions.
