Highly skilled mechanical engineer. In the previous four years I have worked on bringing a commercial Ørsted Renescience waste recycling plant to life. When I started at Renescience in 2015 I was fully responsible for the operation of a medium scale pilot plant located at an incineration plant in Copenhagen. In close collaboration with our R&D department our team executed different test setups under real circumstances. Our team permanently improved the pilot plant and gave input for a large scale Renescience plant in Northwich, England. Unfortunately the location of the pilot plant was demolished and I continued working on the design and commissioning of the full scale recycling plant in England. Here I enjoyed to continuously improve the plant and dig into root cause analysis, when we faced challenges to keep the operation time of the plant. To ensure safety on site I performed several risk analysis using the Bowtie method. From 2007 to 2015 I have worked with different technologies in the chemical industry such as steam methane reformers, ammonia converters, reactor and heat exchanger design. I have been project member for two different pilot plants for production of methanol / gasoline out of biomass. In the final two years at Topsøe I have been group leader for the plant layout and piping group coordinating collaboration between our engineers in Denmark and our office in India. We had some great successes in saving man-hours by using value stream mapping and lean. Beside managing I also try to keep track on my engineering skills trough minor projects.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the REnescience pilot plant at ARC. Coordination beetween R&D, Concepts team and ARC. Responsible for work environment and safety. Hiring of external consultants for heavily loaded periods. Budget responsible.
