In the last 9 years I was working as Technical Director at Hutchinson. My biggest achievements were a successful 2 step plant restructuring/expansion resulting in a 2.5x turnover, the creation of an engineering process for the definition and maintenance of equipment/machines for all European and African plants of the activity, the reduction of CO2 emissions by -50% and a safety audit result of 89% (2nd best of all Hutchinson plats at the time). Before I started my own business and worked as a Management Consultant (automotive industry). Projects include interim management, project management in R&D, valuation, supply chain / costing system optimisation and planning, project management factory expansion. As a Plant Manager at Cabach I had the responsibility over all company activities inclusive R&D, Marketing/Sales, Finance-, HR- and Supply Chain Management. I restructured and integrated the company into the supply chain of an international company group. The market presence of the company group was widened to southern Europe. I introduced an ERP-System, applied Lean production principles from the automotive industry in order to improve productivity by 50% and introduced a new product line from market research over R&D, production until the supply chain and sales structure for the Iberian market. Prior to this I was employed at the Mercedes Car Group (Daimler) from 2000 to 2007, where I worked in projects in Germany and South Africa as a Factory Planner, Process Analyst, Industrial Engineer and Engineering Project Team Leader. I became deeply involved with LEAN when I was responsible for the Mercedes Production System in my division and planned the final assembly lines for two new Mercedes models as Project Team Leader. I gained experience in lean production/factory planning during my consultancy project at Wild Manufacturing, Automotive and Aerospace Industry. At Rieter Automotive I was deeply involved in the introduction of the Quality Management System QS 9000. International experience through working in Germany, Portugal, South Africa and in the UK. Academically I obtained a MBA at Warwick Business School, MSc at University of Central England, Diplomingenieur (FH) at University of Applied Sciences Zwickau and a postgraduation as an Advanced Safety Engineer.
