Assistant Editor at Zando, working on all things children’s, Slowburn, horror and more. Emerson College graduate. Previously an Editorial Intern at Bloomsbury Children's books, bookseller, and an assistant at Andrea Brown Literary Agency.
Actively acquiring Editor at Zando for all things adult genre fiction, ranging from horror and mystery/thriller to romance and select sci-fi and fantasy. Additionally, I review all of Zando's children's books, including picture books, MG, and mostly YA.
Transitioned to becoming a lead and/or support on all children's titles (picture books to YA) and expanded role into adult genre fiction (romance, horror, thriller, etc.), IP, and provide a support role in launching romance imprint Slowburn, which has published several bestselling authors, including Brynne Weaver and Navessa Allen. Additionally, I have worked on several award winning YA novels and a Reese's Book Club Pick (Throwback by Maurene Goo).
Assistant to Executive Editor of Zando Young Readers, helping launch our inaugural list as well as providing additional support within a startup environment.
Providing support to Senior Agents Jennifer Laughran and Jennifer Rofé as well as Agent Jennifer March Soloway in various editorial, contract, and administrative capacities for over a hundred clients.
Managed a team of 10 to 15 employees, assisting with training and education into children's literature. Liaison and moderator for over three-hundred events.
Assisted several assistant editors with everyday tasks, from reader's reports to prepping for sales or editorial meetings. Used various publishing databases, including conducting research using bookscan sales and other data, managing biblio information for current and past titles, and submitting CIP applications Library of Congress.
