    Art Harrogate is a UK based platform, helping to expose the talent of local artists from the Harrogate and the surrounding areas, through direct agent marketing and regular pop up shops. This allowed me to create a venture close to my passion, art! I worked closely with artists from a 20 mile radius of Harrogate to promote the local artists and to showcase their work to the maximum. Due to art galleries demanding high value in return from the artists, a lot of artists couldn’t simply afford that, which is where Art Harrogate managed to help. From market research into this sector, I found a gap where i could diverse the market to create more public art within the community, which all lead to the name getting out within the community. I reached out to many local companies, which led to collaborations with the local council, Natwest and HSBC banks, Hotels such as Rudding Park and Hotel Du Vin, Retailers such as James Brindleys and collaborating with highly named artist Marcus Levine and Tony Bromwell Smith. Art Harrogate still runs with a rotation of a verity of artwork for sale within café’s, bars, restaurants, hotels and shops.

This involved representing the business at conferences and meetings with future clients, working with sponsors, leadership and strategic planning. This gave me great awareness to the world of business, and to put my already learnt attributes in place but also to quickly adapt and learn new skills that would develop my whole mind set and knowledge.
