I am an Australian Mechanical Engineer working in Aerospace. I am passionate about design and analysis. I love to work in an environment where everyday is a learning opportunity. I am currently working as a Structures Engineer at Airbus. Within the Structures In Service team at the RAAF Base Richmond, I am supporting the C-130J TLS program primarily through designing structural repairs. I have further experience as a Structures Engineer within a small aerospace contracting company in South Windsor, Australia where structural analysis and design were at the forefront of my day to day work. Previously I have also worked as both a Design & Release Engineer and Maintenance Engineer, where I have valuable experience in the project management, leadership, problem solving and more.
Working both in-person and remotely as an Aerospace Structures Engineer responsible for developing engineering designs, reports and other documents for defence projects: • Performing and developing tools to perform structural analysis of aircraft components. • Structural Substantiation to Part 25 Aircraft Regulations and MIL-S-5700 • Specification development (Airworthiness, Functional) • Showing compliance to design requirements, in particular Section 22 WHS • Weight and Balance Assessment to Part 25 Aircraft Regulations • Test Plans and Reports • Interface Control Documents • System & Hardware Description • Developing Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and Airplane Flight Manual supplements • Developing 3D CAD models, modification/installation drawings, and engineering drawings of type design data to AS1100 standard • 3D Printing Rapid Prototyping • Conformity of parts against design requirements and specification • Involvement in ongoing Defence projects
Working in PMT1 Side Closures owning the moving glass commodity: • Involved in project management • Problem solving and conflict resolution • Leading supplier meetings • Meeting design requirements • Preparing and presenting concerns between suppliers and internal customers, and more which is involved in leading the design and release of moving glass for the P703, U704 and J73 programs.
