Additionally, overseeing global risk transformation initiatives for multinational clients, with responsibility for projects spanning the APAC region. Delivering strategic insights and practical solutions to navigate complex regulatory challenges and drive compliance excellence.
The Sub-Committee comprises of carefully selected, high calibre representatives of the financial community in Singapore, including personalities from universal and private banks, independent asset managers, international financial advisers, multi-family offices and fund managers representing the financial industry as a whole. Open to members and non-members. The sub-committee meets in an informal setting and promotes discussions on relevant topics such as Challenges for SG as a Financial Centre, Digitalisation, Repatriation, Private Equity, Variable Capital Companies, Wealth Tax, the independent asset manager industry and financial services for Swiss citizens and SMEs in Singapore as well as regulatory challenges, just to name a few. In addition, the sub-committee shall serve as an expert body to transmit its financial knowledge to SCC members from the non-financial sector through panel discussions, lectures, white papers and focus workshops, and to help Members on financial matters when needed, based on the insights from the topics discussed in the sub-committee.
The Swiss Association of Singapore (SAS) is a non-political, non-religious and non-profit seeking association of Swiss nationals and persons with a close relation to Switzerland residing in Singapore. Under the shelter and support of the Embassy of Switzerland, as well as the sponsorships of few Swiss entrepreneurs and companies in Singapore, the SAS started to offer some events and activities for people to meet and mingle. More formally, the objectives of the Swiss Association are: - to facilitate contact among Swiss nationals living in Singapore - to foster friendship and contact between the Swiss community in Singapore and friends of Switzerland - to liaise between the Embassy of Switzerland in Singapore and the Swiss community in Singapore - to act as a link between other Swiss organizations in Singapore and the Swiss community in Singapore - to organize social and recreational events that are in the general interest of its Members and the Swiss community in general
