Deutsche Version: Nach dem Informatik-Studium startete ich in der Produktentwicklung der Software AG. Nach sechs Jahren wechselte ich in den Consulting-Bereich. Seitdem bin ich weltweit für Kunden unterwegs und integriere deren geschäftskritische Applikationen mit weiteren Systemen (etwa SAP R/3). Die Kunden, Familienunternehmen und SMEs sowie Konzerne, kommen aus allen Branchen. webMethods- Migrationsprojekte mit Plattform- und Architekturberatung stehen aktuell im Fokus. Bei Migrationsprojekten, Software-Entwicklung und -Installation hat die Automatisierung von Prozessen immer mehr an Bedeutung gewonnen. Mit anderen Worten: Ich unterstütze Kunden bei der Implementierung von Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) Prozessen. Zur Steuerung der CI/CD-Prozesse nutze ich Azure DevOps, GitHub oder GitLab. Ebenso implementiere ich die automatisierte Provisionierung von Applikationen mittels Terraform. Bei der Architektur-Beratung spielt die Containerisierung eine immer größere Rolle. Ich unterstütze unsere Kunden beim Aufbau von Kubernetes- und OpenShift-Clustern und nutze dafür die von mir entwickelten Helm Charts (siehe Link in Publikationen) . Die Dokumentation der Applikationen und deren Netzwerk habe ich mit Diagram as Code geschrieben. --- English Version: After studying computer science, I started in product development at Software AG. After six years, I switched to consulting. Since then, I support our clients globally. I integrate their business-critical applications with further systems (e.g. SAP R/3). Clients, family businesses, SMEs or corporations, cover all industries and sectors. The current focus of my work are webMethods-migration projects that require platform and architecture advisory and consulting. In migration projects, software development and installation Process automation has gained momentum. In other words: I support and advise clients implementing Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) processes. I use Azure DevOps, GitHub or GitLab to control CI/CD-processes. In addition, I implement the automated provisioning of applications via Terraform. Containerization plays an increasingly important role in my architecture advisory projects. I developed Helm Charts (see link in publications) which I use supporting clients in their efforts to launch Kubernetes and OpenShift cluster.
