Responsibilities include: • Day to day management of infotainment team incl. development of individual team members • Resource planning & recruitment • Lead infotainment strategy & technology roadmap • RFQ, supplier selection & nomination • Build and maintain supplier relationships • Act as overall project lead for McLaren’s next generation infotainment platform • Oversee development and test activities to ensure deliveries are on-time and within budget • Report on current activities, project status and issues at all levels of the business
Leading the technical delivery of McLaren’s global infotainment platforms from concept to production across all McLaren vehicles for Sports, Super and Ultimate Series. Responsibilities included: • Authoring, review & approval of technical specifications, DFMEAs and DVPs • Ensuring internal & external customer requirements are captured as part of future infotainment systems • Supporting supplier RFQ activities and managing change requests • Engineering releases & change management • Technical project management to ensure delivery in line with McLaren development plan • Managing external suppliers • Leading test & validation activities incl. management of infotainment test team • Driving resolution of quality concerns and field issues • Establishing McLaren’s infotainment system roadmap • Building and growing the infotainment team Successfully delivered the second generation of McLaren's Infotainment System introduced on 720S comprising of Infotainment and Driver Information features.
Responsible for the application and delivery of Ford’s SYNC and MyFord Touch connectivity solutions including Emergency Assistance across the global range of Transit Programs, working with the teams in Europe, America & Asia. Altran team leader for Electrical/Electronic Systems Engineering (EESE), UK. Responsibilities included: • System integration into Transit vehicle platform • Engineering releases & change management • Supplier coordination & management • Test planning, coordination & execution (DVP) • Engineering sign-off in line with program milestones • Launch support for plants in Europe & North America • Issue tracking & resolution • Series support
