Responsible for the successful development of territory concentrating on advanced patient monitors and telemetry based monitoring systems, as well as cardiac defibrillators and related diagnostic equipment. Selected accomplishments: Converted all IDN’s in my territory, (BJC, SSM, Mercy Health System, Cox Health Systems, University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics) as well as individual hospitals to the Welch Allyn disposable blood pressure cuffs. Revenues currently exceed 5.5 million dollars annually; establishing Welch Allyn as Number 1 blood pressure cuff provider for the sales region. Partnered with Cerner and converted all University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics to the Welch Allyn Connex Vitals Signs Management System. This project enabled the nursing staff to capture patient vital signs information and send that critical data wirelessly into their Cerner Electronic Medical Records system, improving efficiencies, eliminating errors/omissions and most importantly, improve patient/clinician satisfaction. Showed a 15 month ROI on a 2+ million dollar investment. Designed and implemented Welch Allyn’s first IDN agreement with BJC Health System, incorporating entire product line with a bottom line impact exceeding 2.5 million annually Developed and grew partnerships with all distribution partners Consistently in top 10% of quota achievement. (Average quota 9 million annually).
Responsible for introducing advanced robotics and speech recognition technology into the Operating Room for a six state territory in the Midwest. Selected accomplishments: Established Barnes Hospital as a BETA site for what has now become the DiVinci Surgical Workstation in an effort to attain 510K/FDA approval. This was prior to the merger of Computer Motion and Intuitive Surgical Sold this cutting edge technology based on both a clinical and financial value while justifying a large capital investment
