About

I started my apprenticeship as Modeler with Ford. I was responsible for seating as well as inside/outside clinic bucks. During that time I did a Ford sponsored Engineering Degree next to work on the University for applied science in Cologne. Before my Diploma I started in the Seating Package Department where I also had my thesis on a customer prediction tool for adjustable seats in the second row. I worked in Flexibility, Driving position and was promoted to a Teamleader in that department. I did participate on the seating package/ vehicle architecture of first S-Max/ Galaxy, first Kuga, . From there I was promoted to Body Engineering doing Integration and Feasibility. A few years later I joined Design as Design engineering Supervisor for Interior. in that function I did Interiors on Transit Connect, Courier, Fiesta MK7, Focus Mk4, E-Transit, Puma, Transit connect with VW and also new Transit w VW. Lately I was promoted to Design Engineering lead for Passenger Cars in Europe. During this transition I supported Ford latest BeVs from Interior and Exterior perspective. My team supports the very early studies in terms of feasibility and makability as well as guiding all A-Surface related trade offs between Design, Attributes and Functions.
