As Senior Manager, my core responsibility is to lead a dynamic team of 7 people with the goal of successfully looking after the millions of fans traveling across Europe to attend UEFA competitions. My main focus is to serve as the liaison between international, national and local public and private stakeholders in order to implement strategies and programs that will improve spectators experience. My main duties are as follows: • Market-Driven management of cross-functional teams in 20+ countries. • Managing an operating budget of $50+ million (Multi-site operations). • Providing direction and mentorship to team members in planning and executing assigned projects. • Developing strategic partnerships with UEFA external partners (Football Associations, Host Cities, Football Clubs, etc.), intergovernmental organizations, trade associations, and leading international organizations in the field of aviation and ground transportation to develop and drive execution of customer engagement strategies. • Communicating (including executive presentations) progress, results, and risks to UEFA top management, and facilitating effective decision making. • Regularly meeting with partners and authorities to maintain and develop a strong professional network (including policy development, long-range planning, identifying market trends and customer segment opportunities). • Creating insightful and actionable business cases for strategic initiatives and advocate for their approval. • Ensuring close cooperation with various department within the company.
