My background is in the pharmaceutical industry, P&L leadership, and capital markets, with a track record of scaling the business organically, building high-performing teams, and strengthening governance. The highlight during my six-year tenure as Bachem CEO was more than doubling the revenue, while delivering over proportional profit growth. Together with my team we executed strategic initiatives that enhanced our competitive position in the peptide and oligonucleotide manufacturing market and will secure Bachem additional profitable growth in the years to come. I believe that sustainable performance is built at the intersection of clear vision & mission and rigorous execution. I am passionate about empowering diverse leadership teams, investing in innovation, and aligning incentives with long-term value creation for all stakeholders. Privately, I now live in Berlin, grew up in Switzerland, worked in San Francisco where I met my wife, a Parisian scientist, who now runs a world-class research group as a Professor in Neurobiology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. Together, we raised a wonderful daughter who studies in Ardingly/UK and shares our passion and dedication for challenges.
