I began my career in Dubai, way back in July 1995, as an accountant in a block factory in Jebel Ali Free Zone in very humble surroundings. This first experience, where I learned the rudimentary foundations of the concrete industry, accounting practices and construction field in general. This was the time Dubai was on the threshold for exponential growth. Those early years gave me a deep insight into operations, quality, procedures laced with the hard work and toil shaped my destiny. My onward journey continued in Dubai from an accountant into sales at M/s Consent Concrete Products, a pioneer in the precast industry in Dubai where I strengthened my commercial skills, technical skills, built long-term client relationships, and gained wide perspective of the market and trends. The long years in sales up to being the Asst Sales Manager, gave me rich experience on customer needs and market expectations. This experience was a huge eye opener and sparked a bigger vision in me of starting an enterprise. From being an employee to being an employer, I created a new company M/s. Ducon Building Materials LLC in 2015, which gave me invaluable trading experience and a very good and loyal clientele. With that experience and vision in mind, I founded Alcon Concrete Products Factory LLC, Sharjah in 2017. What started as a trading activity and within a short time into a full statured manufacturing company. From not starting a block company, we started to make customized precast architectural elements with our motto, “The art of concrete, redefined” manufacturing every day new products as per designers, architects, contractors or homeowners, carving out a niche market for our ourselves. During the Covid era when many businesses were limping, we grew multifold and started a new factory under the name of Alcon Concrete Products LLC, Dubai Industrial city and stays as our HO, now. Alcon is a widely recognized company and brand across the UAE and the GCC. We are truly proud of what we created, built on trust, quality, and continuous improvement. Today, I lead a team of 150 employees with the same dedication and values that shaped my early days: staying hands-on, empowering my team, and driving innovation in every part of the business. I remain committed to contributing to the construction industry in the UAE and creating lasting value for our clients and partners.
