• Develop robust machine control software for coordinating multi-disciplinary subsystems to improve SEM tool performance and reliability
• Design a Python API that interfaces with .NET framework applications to allow Application and System Engineers to create calibration and diagnostic test scripts for a novel metrology tool. • Develop a MATLAB GUI application to control motorized stages and a novel camera using the .NET framework that allows Optical Engineers to conduct experiments and collect data with a prototype metrology tool. • Construct a MATLAB application to allow Optical Engineers to visualize and analyze collected spectral data from a prototype metrology tool to assess the system’s capabilities and drive improvements. • Develop a MATLAB GUI application that interfaces with a commercial optical design application to automate a variety of simulations performed on models of optical systems and aggregates the results. The application enables users to perform crucial optical tolerancing to help determine the capabilities of new optical sub-systems for next generation metrology tools.
• Responsible for assembling, calibrating, and shipping over 100 advanced optical profiler systems for use in a variety of surface metrology applications. • Modify parts and assemblies using light tools based on CAD drawings and desired system specifications to accommodate custom orders and provide superior customer service. • Perform on-site servicing of customer systems and provide technical support to correct system issues. • Perform quality control inspections on incoming goods and communicate with vendors regarding quality issues that require re-work in order to meet established quality standards. • Responsible for managing, organizing, and tracking inventory purchased from vendors to achieve on-time delivery and help minimize time spent searching for parts.
• Utilize strong attention to detail and regularly clear fallen trees from trails and eliminate invasive plant species using light and heavy machinery. • Demonstrate effective communication with park visitors while enforcing park rules and policies. • Calmly respond to a variety of medical and park emergencies. • Instruct new employees on the proper use of power tools and park policies to improve productivity. • Monitor and supervise volunteers and participants of the Sheriff Workers Program on maintenance projects.
