About

I have always endeavoured to run my practice in a way that is most beneficial to my clients and not my own personal benefit. In an attempt to accomplish this, I have completed my training as a mediator and I am now a High Court Accredited Mediator. Alternative Dispute Resolution can only be beneficial to disputing parties and I wish to be at the forefront of this exciting new development within the legal fraternity of Namibia.

I specialise in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Furthermore, I am recognised by the High Court of Namibia as an accredited mediator. My litigation background gives me a unique view when it comes to my role as a mediator. This allows me to assist disputing parties and to advise them with regards to not only the legal implications, but also the financial, and time implications of potential legal steps. Thus, providing the parties with a holistic picture of their dispute. It is important to remember that my role as a mediator is to assist the disputing parties in reaching a solution that is acceptable to all parties involved in the dispute. As a mediator, I am not concerned with the legal weaknesses and strengths of each party's case; my aim is to assist the parties in finding a resolution that satisfies them. My litigation experience, gained while practicing as an advocate, also provides the clients with various benefits. Including, but not limited to, litigation advice and real-time advice regarding the potential costs and implications of various legal steps being considered. This allows clients to make litigious decisions without the need for consulting with outside counsels, I.E. advocates.
