Thomas is the placement leader for Casualty and Healthcare for Bowring Marsh Bermuda. In his role he leads the placement activities of the Bermuda Healthcare and Casualty teams handling North America domiciled insureds. The team handles excess casualty placements for a diverse range of industry sectors. Thomas has responsibility for managing the team and developing new product solutions for clients in the Bermuda marketplace.
Underwriting across the spectrum of North American Casualty and Healthcare business. Sectors covered include general industry/Fortune 1000, construction, rail & transportation & large healthcare systems, community hospitals, long term care facilities and miscellaneous medical professionals. Lines of coverage include healthcare professional liability, general liability, billings errors and omissions and primry and excess casualty
A two year programme providing both professional development through a range of courses and seminars alongside time spent rotating around the key functions of the company. During the scheme I rotated into three underwritng teams: Construction and Engineering, Terrorism and North American Casualty.
