Design and implementation of a prediction market In the first half of the project, the theoretical basis of an appropriate model and relevant questions in the field of commodity trading have been developed. Based on this theoretical framework, a pilot prediction market was implemented for a period of 11 weeks on an internet-based software solution. It consisted of five independent markets to forecast uncertain results on the energy trading markets. Particular attention was paid to adequate liquidity and diversification in the design of the contracts. In the second half of the project, the obtained data was examined in the form of probability distributions, point forecasts, trading volumes and trading periods. Moreover, various methods of measuring the predictive power were used.

Assistance as well as self-dependent work on the development of a process-performance-measurement tool for the commercial paper transactions. As a pilot, I created a excel sheet for three processes with VBA. Furthermore I prepared PowerPoint presentations for the board of directors.
