Upgrading, conversion and exchange of control systems including FLS proprietary ECS SCADA system. This being done on plants running full production without stop during the changeover between the old and the new system. Commissioning and start-up of various equipment on both cement plants, power plants and copper mines. Developing standard program modules for e.g. kiln feeder and silos including faceplates, involving use of advanced mathematical models and simulation. Interfaces to intelligent units as motor starters, frequency drives, MV switch gear etc. Coupling of main control system to both own but also third party high level control systems for advanced process control. Underlying PLC control mainly being Rockwell CLX, Siemens S7 and Schneider Unity. Extensive use of virtual machines and soft PLC's for development and test purposes. Special high temperature cameras for kiln use. Training of client personnel in various control system disciplines. Development of training material including virtual control systems for simulation during training. Working abroad with people from virtually all kinds of backgrounds and cultures and in all kinds of places. Keeping very close communication with clients on sites and thereby also keeping a high level of documentation on commissioning activities through careful and detailed reporting in writing. Honestly speaking, the all very different experiences with FLS have been a constant source of excitement for my technical mind and curious nature.
Maintaining SattLine DCS system based on nnelib and programming various Change Requests. Maintaining OPC Connection between SattLine DCS and LMES+ ERP system on Oracle database. Supporting LMES+ system in operation. Keeping the whole control system in validated condition (GMP).
