Monitor server and network health in the Ft. Detrick Network Enterprise Center Data Center. Rotate backup tapes for the NEC, RIID, and MRMC. Support customers with rack cabling and server installation. Run both copper and fiber cable for customers upon request within the data center. Supply Desktop Support for customers ranging from software and hardware troubleshooting and installation to Blackberry sync and password issues. Support VMware VDI users. Troubleshoot both network and local printers Remediation of software vulnerabilities discovered by monthly Retina scans.
Perform vulnerability scans on all network connected equaling approximately 2000 systems and assist with remediation. Administer all of the vulnerability scanning servers and monitor for new threats to our systems. Image new systems with approved OS images and make sure everything is up-to-date before being connected to the production network. Serve on the IT Asset Management Working Group in development of an enterprise wide ITAM solution. Evaluate MFD hardware to ensure compliance with DoD established guidelines for Information Assurance enabled devices.
