The Reentry System/Reentry Vehicle Branch is charged with ensuring viability of the RS/RV through the end of life for the Minuteman III ICBM. Reentry vehicles include both Mk 12A and Mk 21, along with all essential subcomponents. Management of the branch includes program managers, engineers, acquisition program managers, and funding program management specialists. As Branch Chief I also lead the Integrated Production Team (IPT) to ensure all partnerships and interdepartmental work is performed effectively and efficiently. These partnerships include the 582nd Maintenance Group, Defense Logistics Agency, Air Force Global Strike Center, Wing Customers, Technical Order Management, and all Contract Support.
• Lead acquisition program team for Weapon System Command Control (WSC2), NC3 Interfaces for GBSD • Plan, develop, and coordinate WSC2 NC3 system requirements with a high-paced, energetic, proactive attitude
• Hand selected – management reassignment to bring order and accountability to unit • Expertly handle difficult subordinate employee situations – holding high expectations • Deftly communicated, document, organize, and inspire employees to higher level perf. • Supervise 19 employees in support of Complex and Group contracts – ensuring contract execution is according to contract details of the performance work statements • Review and generate well-written and clear correspondence and documentation, ensuring accuracy in conveying the intent and results of studies, analyses, of contracts • Evaluate progress in attaining and maintaining organizational objectives • Appraise performance of subordinate employees, and serving as reviewing official on evaluations of non-supervisory employees – engage with discipline as required • Advise staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher level management • Select candidates for subordinate non-supervisory positions • Ensure all COR are properly trained and are performing to established procedural requirements – surveilling contracts and maintaining accurate and adequate records • Expertly implement Art of the Possible (AoP) tenants across OBCB, mapping and gating current processes, measuring and analyzing improvements, and establishing a culture of improvement within the organization that inspires excellent performance
Active consultant on the Purchasing Supply Chain Management (PSCM) contract. Assisted the Supplier Relationship Management SRM, Commoditiy Councils (Landing Gear and Secondary Power) with Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts, Facilitator for Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), Managed budget for IBM team and generated tracking information for other future contract bids and proposals.
