Assists the buyer with purchase order confirmation, expediting orders, issue resolution, and receiving discrepancies. Responsible for the coordination and disposition of expired, defective, and slow moving product. Responsible for reporting expired and defective product to vendors to obtain credit. Worked closely with Accounting to ensure the correct credits were applied. Coordinated the return if product to vendors from five warehouses across the United States. Assisted in the vendor recall process which included product quarantine in warehouses, development and distribution of communications to customers who have received the product, informing the Returns department to quarantine any returned product, and informing Accounting of expected credits.

Served as the location's Human Resource Manager which included proper communication, scheduling, approval and submission if time cards, following procedure for worker's compensation, employee and/or customer incidents and injury procedures. Counsel and coach underperforming employees. Communicated merchandising and advertising strategies to the staff and reviewed stock levels to ensure adequate inventory. Assured the facility was properly maintained and cleaned.
