Thomas J. Hirsch was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Fiserv, Inc. and retired in March of 2016 from the Company after over 20 years of service. Actively engaged in driving the strategic transformation of Fiserv from a decentralized holding company to an integrated operating company. During Tom's tenure as CFO, Fiserv's share price grew at a compounded average annual growth rate of 16 percent. Before becoming CFO, Tom served as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller for Fiserv, and was responsible for the investor relations and the treasury function. Tom joined the company in 1994 as Divisional Assistant Controller and served as Corporate Assistant Controller and Corporate Controller. Prior to Fiserv, Tom spent eight years as Manager in the Audit Division of Deloitte & Touche LLP serving large, multi-national clients. He has a BBA and EMBA from University of Wisconsin Madison and Milwaukee, respectively.
My responsibilities included managing all of the financial functions of the Company.
