As the Head of Vaccine Manufacturing and Supply at Takeda, I am a member of the Vaccine Business Unit Executive Committee and lead Global operations for our portfolio of vaccines. My responsibilities span across our in-house manufacturing sites, third-party manufacturing operations, along with Manufacturing Science & Technology, Supply Chain, Strategy, and Business Excellence functions. Our focus at the Vaccine Business Unit is to deliver vaccines that address some of the most pressing public health issues. With recent vaccine launches and a significant capital investment program underway, our goal is to further grow and develop the Manufacturing and Supply organization to consistently meet Global demand. I bring experience in small and large molecule manufacturing on a diverse range of platform technologies, enriched by various roles in operations leadership, business strategy, and my tenure at a top-tier management consulting firm, where I served pharmaceutical and biotech clients on a wide array of strategy, organization, and business development topics. Having lived and worked in the US, Europe, and Japan, I enjoy diverse environments, tackling a variety of topics and challenges. I am committed to ensuring a strong alignment between our operations activities and the overarching business goals and objectives, driving success for our organization and the communities we serve.
