Together with the Austrian and German Team i support our GfK Customers with Market Insights and valuable Information to provide the best foundation for future decision and success.
My Role is to develop and support Austrian market with 2 peers for Notebooks, Tablets, Desktops and All-in-Ones. This includes classic dealer VAR-channel and I am personally taking care of big Retailers MediaMarkt & Saturn, CONRAD, etc. With my product-knowledge I also act as a link to German Product Marketing and also to Taiwan Headquarter. Additionally, I support German PR-Department with my personal network to Austrian IT press.
Lead Sales Staff (5 Peers) to open Austrian Retail Channel for MAXDATA and coordinate PM Germany with Austrian Sales Demand - Retailer .. defining potential customers, starting relationships, forecasting and defining line-up - Sales Lead .. lead sales team, service as window to other departments and to customers - Coordination .. influence German HQ with Austrian demand and take vision from HQ Unfortunately, the German Headquarter, MAXDATA AG and its subsidiaries filed chapter 11 insolvency progress on June 25, 2008. Since finally it turned out that there will be no investor for to proceed, the insolvency process was initiated on 11th September 2008
It was my responsibility to achieve the budgeted 120 Mio. Revenue for the Austrian subsidiary, to keep the market share in a saturated IT-Market and to increase promising product fields. Basically, my Management Tasks were for following Departments and Tasks - Advertisement .. definition of content, communication to agencies for layout and sujet - Promotion marketing .. definition of promotion, duration, ROI - Event marketing .. finding location, budgeting, coordination - Communication/Press .. company-speaker, contact to press, launch events, Demos, tutorials - Product marketing .. defining the Austrian portfolio, pricing, forecasting - Distribution Sales .. management of 4 distributors, contact on CEO level - Retail Sales .. portfolio management, fulfilment, channel-policy, contact on CEO level
