Tom holds an MA in Communication Science and a Dr. rer. pol. (PhD equivalent) in Business Information Systems from the University of Duisburg-Essen. He worked as a lecturer and researcher for several academic institutes and was responsible for a number of R&D and innovation projects. In many years of management experience in various business functions, Tom also demonstrated his practical skills in banking, management & technology consulting, in managing a startup incubator, and in running his own consulting company.
