With over a year of experience as Executive Director of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, I lead the strategic coordination and operational management of one of the world’s most esteemed platforms for fostering dialogue between Nobel Laureates and early-career researchers. My role encompasses oversight of an annual budget of €4.5–6 million, leadership of a dedicated team, and the successful delivery of three consecutive high-profile meetings with robust international participation and visibility. My expertise spans institutional leadership, strategic development, and conference planning, with a demonstrated focus on digital integration, including AI-supported analytics and system digitalization. Committed to expanding the global reach of cultural and scientific institutions, I have strengthened international academic networks, enhanced media visibility, and engaged key political stakeholders, ensuring the advancement of the organization's mission.
Executive leadership as member of Board and Council of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, one of the world’s leading platforms for exchange between Nobel Laureates and early-career researchers. Responsibility includes organisational oversight, strategic development, and the coordination of a complex funding structure involving federal and state ministries as well as private partners. Oversight of an annual budget of €4.5–6 million and leadership of a team of approximately 20 staff members. Further development of institutional structures, including governance, controlling, and digital processes (participant management, analytics). Expansion of international partnerships and engagement with political stakeholders, strengthening the institution’s positioning in academic and public contexts.
Directed the Executive Secretariat and was responsible for the operational and strategic preparation of the annual Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, one of the world’s largest regular gatherings of Nobel Laureates with approximately 600 early-career researchers. Oversaw programme coordination, institutional partnerships, and security-related frameworks in close cooperation with public authorities and international partners. Led strategic communication processes and contributed to the expansion of partnerships with more than 100 leading research institutions worldwide.

Research and programme work at one of Harvard University’s leading international research centres. Contributed to the strategic development of institutional programmes and to the repositioning of five international publication series, including negotiations with academic publishers. Organised major international conferences and interdisciplinary formats, contributing to the Centre’s intellectual profile and global visibility. Conducted own research projects in intellectual and cultural history, with a focus on 20th-century art history, German-Italian cultural relations, and institutional history. Participated in grant-making processes within an international academic framework.
Project leader in large-scale public-sector digital transformation initiatives, with responsibility for multidisciplinary teams and direct engagement with senior administrative leadership. Led the development of a comprehensive 360° digital strategy for a German federal state, encompassing governance reform, service digitalisation, organisational restructuring and implementation roadmaps.
Led dedicated workstreams and client teams within large-scale strategic transformation projects across public-sector, cultural and industrial contexts. Contributed to strategic repositioning processes for major cultural institutions, including long-term planning initiatives for leading concert halls, as well as the development of cultural and tourism strategy frameworks in the Gulf region. In addition, involved in strategic planning projects within the energy and consumer sectors and in the restructuring of HR functions at enterprise level.
