I'm the Chief Technology Officer of Straumann Group and have been part of the healthcare industry for almost two decades. Seeing the change of dentistry happening right now and the strong position of the Straumann group in dentistry, in particular implantology, make every day a fascinating new step for me in helping the digital transformation of our industry and our company. Several years ago, I initiated the development of the teamplay digital health platform at Siemens Healthineers, creating the core application portfolio that started the idea. This is an achievement I’m immensely proud of. The teamplay digital health platform enables digital transformation, turning data into cost savings and better care. My passion for innovation and technology drives me and I feel proud to use my expertise for a greater cause. I believe in collaboration and coming together with customers to bring ideas to life, a connected network amongst customers and individuals. I strive to help make medicine more precise, empower patients, and digitally transforming every facet of healthcare. I like to think about how to apply technology to solve real-world challenges. This is what I love about my role. Knowing that I am building a platform that ultimately benefits patients and their oral health. It’s a very rewarding use of technology knowledge! Built Siemens Healthineers Digital Platform (teamplay) and the teamply Suite of Performance Management Applications. Introduced Public Cloud based services into Siemens Healthineers' portfolio with a Privacy by Design and by Default mindset as basis for regulatory acceptance in 100+ countries. Transformed the development processes to introduce Continuous Delivery and DevOps mindset into a Quality Management System geared towards development of software as a medical device. Implemented a data strategy allowing secondary use of massive amounts of diagnostic imaging process related data to the company.
Introduced the Technology and Innovation Management Process at the Software Unit of Siemens Healthineers' Diagnostic Imaging business. Ran several pre-development and collaboration projects to drive innovative ideas from the idea space into the software portfolio.
