1. Draft, update and review contracts and other legal documentation - Develop, update and review a broad range of commercial agreements with clients (Big Pharmas, Biotechs and CROs), Suppliers and consultants; - Provide legal expertise for Quality agreement and Technical Agreements; - Draft and review official documentation such as communications with the regulatory or administrative authorities. 2. Provide general legal support to the company and its staff members - Identify and classify every legislation applicable to company in order to create a practical legislative tool - Ensure that the company’s general assemblies and board of directors meetings are effectively organized, documented and recorded and ensure the company’s compliance with the relevant legislation, articles of association and other regulations. - Review insurance policies and company’s coverage - Ensure the company’s compliance in matters relevant to its operational activities including but not limited to VAT legislation, Clinical Trial regulations, packaging and labelling of Investigational Medicinal Products and Ancillary Supplies, Biomedical Sample Management incl. biobanking, Good Practices (e.g. Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Clinical Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Good Distribution Practices. - Assist each department of the company in the interpretation of the applicable rules and regulations.
- Training organization employees on GDPR compliance requirements - Conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure GDPR compliance - Serving as the point of contact between the company and the relevant supervisory authority - Maintaining records of all data processing activities conducted by the company - Responding to data subjects to inform them about how their personal data is being used and what measures the company has put in place to protect their data - Ensuring that data subjects’ requests to see copies of their personal data or to have their person data erased are fulfilled or responded to, as necessary.
