As a translational scientist, my primary focus is on advancing the clinical application of microbiome research in the areas of integrative and functional medicine, and in the promotion of healthy aging and healthspan. My primary expertise includes the role of the microbiome in health, immune & metabolic function, aging and age-related chronic diseases. After conducting aging-related research for a number of years in academia and in the biotech industry, I transitioned to providing scientific and educational consulting services for clinical laboratories and nutraceutical companies serving the functional and integrative medicine fields.
