I have held various Technical and Management positions in MNC and SME throughout my 40-year career in the Oil and Gas industry. Came to realize that change is the only constant i.e. past success does not guarantee the future be it corporate or personal life. Provide design services for offshore equipment such as downhole completion, PCE, Subsea equipment, special tools and Rigless Rig such as HWU. Also provide product testing, validation services and assist in FAT. Coordinate various Hydraulic Workover Operations. Assisted companies to boost their Engineering department capabilities to qualify and innovate API products and certification. Resourceful and possessed good network to many Oil and Gas professionals and companies in this region, the Middle East as well as the UK and the US.
Manage the upstream Engineering Department. Pioneered the company’s effort to achieve OEM status after successfully API 11D1 and 14L monogram certification in 2018. Lead and successfully achieved API 4F certification in 2022. Spent some time developing the business in Indonesia.
Promoted as GM after 12 years of service. Responsible for Biz Development & Project tendering. Coordinate contract administration functions with the Operations team and oversee the project costing department. Also involved in developing key field staff development.
Manager of Singapore PDC Mfg Plant - Design, Field Engineering Support, Inventory and Production. Promoted from Product Engineer after one year.
Joined as Development Engineer (Completion Tools - Design, Shop and Field Support). Last position - Customer Service Supervisor.
Design and Development of Tricone Rock Bits include manufacturing engineering for new and transferred product from Houston and other companies such as Varel's open hole bits.
