Thomas Burkart is Senior Advisor Corporate Solutions at Metzler Bank in Frankfurt, and joined in July 2021. He offers advisory and execution services in connection with equity and debt capital market transactions for German companies, especially in the small- and mid-cap segment. Before that he spent three years at Berenberg as Senior Corporate Relationship Manager, having been co-responsible for building up Corporate Broking in Continental Europe as well as advising a number of listed companies. In addition, he headed the M&A Execution team. As Executive Director at the German small cap investment bank equinet Bank AG (today Pareto Securities AS, Frankfurt branch), he had been involved 14 years in many ECM, DCM and M&A transactions. Previously, he was Head of Investor Relations of a German listed company (SDAX) for around four years. He holds a Diplom-Kaufmann (MBA) from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, Oetrich-Winkel, Germany, and a BSc in Computer Science from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, USA. He is a CEFA charterholder and a Certified Systemic Coach.
