Beacon for Transformation, Innovation and Growth, Resulting in Team Excellence and Optimal Business Value My favorite aspect of global technology leadership involves rolling out modern solutions that change how people do business in meaningful ways. Whether deploying business intelligence for stronger executive decisions or implementing smart technologies in factories, my mission extends beyond delivering technology-enabled capabilities; it’s about empowering people. The approach I use for unlocking strategic enterprise value through technology is centered around business partnership. Only by working directly with leaders and the workforce can I understand their needs to build strategies that serve them – participating in business executive and management conversations, influencing decisions, and championing change as an innovative anticipator vs. a reactive implementer. PROFESSIONAL SNAPSHOT I’m the Chief Information Officer at Arconic Corporation, a $9B global industrial manufacturer of aluminum products. I’ve been advancing through the ranks of IT since joining the company when it was Alcoa Inc., which divided into 2 public companies in 2016, and one of those, Arconic Inc., split into 2 companies in 2020, one of which is Arconic Corp., which recently became a private company. I have shepherded the enterprise through various phases of growth, including cycles of accelerated transformation and disruption, as both a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and a stabilizing force across the technology organization. I’m credited with forming an alliance between IT and the business, moving to proactive methodologies, and improving systems performance, scalability, security, and reliability. Solutions have ranged from digital, cloud, AI, and data analytics to automation, including smart manufacturing technologies. I’m an active contributor in advancing technology practices among IT executives, serving on the Oracle Customer Advisory Board, member of Pittsburgh Technology Council, and Evanta Pittsburgh CIO Governing Body. I have also spoken about the evolving world of technology at the Pittsburgh Technology Council, Pittsburgh CIO and CISO events, and Dell Technologies World.
