Working in the Rare Haematology business unit, focusing on rare coagulation bleeding disorders (haemophilia and von Willebrand Disease). My main responsibilities include: (1) Scientific exchange with key opinion and thought leaders (KO/TL) in the field of coagulation bleeding disorders (2) Building and maintaining professional relationships with external stakeholders to expand Takeda's research, advisory and educational partnership opportunities (3) Developing and maintaining peer-to-peer scientific relationships with KOL's and TL's in healthcare, academia, payer, and government organisations per strategic territory plans (4) Providing scientific liaison support to investigators involved in Takeda sponsored studies (5) KOL engagement planning (6) Data dissemination (7) Presenting clinical and disease state information to a variety of audiences (KOL's, HCP's, hospital/decision making teams etc.) upon requests and/or according to country medical plans (8) Medical training for sales and medical colleagues upon request (9) Communicating key medical insights to inform refinement of medical strategies or tactics (10) Maintaining awareness of and access to internal and external information sources available to support high-quality scientific exchange with HCP's (11) Developing and increasing knowledge of medical literature and critical appraisal of scientific publications

Working as a postdoctoral research scientist at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital in the Center for Platelet Research Studies. During my time at the center I: (1) Evaluated the in vivo recovery, survival and function of transfused platelets using a custom developed labeling procedure (2) Developed a novel mass cytometric assay to study platelet function in health and disease (3) Analyzed various clinical samples from patients with an array of disorders affecting platelet function (e.g. Glanzmann thrombasthenia, Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome, Immune Thrombocytopenia, Sickle Cell Disease, SIDS etc.) (4) Been part of a cross-functional team that set up a clinical trial to establish the most appropriate anti-platelet therapeutic regimen for patients with ventricular assist devices (5) Published a manuscript in Scientific Reports (Nature), a mass-cytometry methods manuscript in the Platelets Journal and a book chapter (Chapter 35: Flow Cytometry) in Platelets: 4th Edition (6) Presented work at various conference venues (Atlanta, Boston, Israel, and Ireland) (7) Submitted two patent applications (patents pending) (8) Mentored and supervised students
