Thomas Aicher is the Dean and Professor within the College of Business at the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs, and the President of Sport & Event Consultants. He focuses on consumer behavior of sport event participants with a particular focus on motivations, constraints, decision making, and travel behaviors. In addition, he evaluates the impact those events have on the local community (e.g., economically, socially, or environmentally). He has partnered with several event-based organizations to assist them with post-event evaluations, including but not limited to participant satisfaction, sponsorship recall and purchase intentions, philanthropic recall and donation/volunteer intentions, as well as social and economic impact.

Our team of experts is able to help you with consumer and event analytics as well as strategies to improve your event's impact within the local community.

Taught courses in Sport Management, Sport Marketing, Facility and Event Management, Sport Finance, Sport Communications, Sport Sales, Research Methods, Applied Statistics, and Sport Industry and Organizations. Founded the Grad Sport Society and served as Faculty Advisor.
