My research targets interpersonal mechanisms of depression risk in adolescence, and in particular the role of peer relationships. I conceptualize risk on multiple levels of analysis: adolescents broader social networks, dyadic interaction, and the underlying neurobiological processes that contribute to emotion regulation and psychosocial functioning.
