Also worked as Programme Manager at the London-based political research and education think tank, the Hansard Society. Previously worked in the UK and European Parliaments after finishing my masters in Westminster University.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the undergraduate Hansard Scholars Programme Setting up internships appropriate to each scholar’s interests and experience both inside Parliament and with external organizations Develop and lead a programme of activities to help the students access Britain’s political and historical heritage. Liaise with academic and LSE staff to ensure the smooth running of the courses including
Administrative assistance and liaison support for Scholars’ internships; convening and directing the Hansard Scholars Council; support the Scholars Programme with income/expenditure monitoring; administer accounts payable; Maintain the Society’s membership database and payment system
Examining public bills as case studies and undertaking quantitative secondary research; Providing research on delegated legislation in relation with parliamentary scrutiny; analysis of literature on the legislative process, producing summaries of committee reports and debate.
