Developing advanced customized IoT ProBeacons⢠that simply work in all circumstances, that is what we do best. We provide a playground, the latest security-technology, and creativity. Together with our clients, we co-create beacon based solutions that fulfill all demands. Together with a few enthusiastic Bluetooth electronic engineers, we are working on the development of Clippon beacon hard and software. Clippon Beacons are based on the iBeacon and Eddystone standard but equipped with a few bright innovations such as GosssipGrid⢠Mesh Networking and Adhoc Secure Communication.
Inventing and developing new innovative payment solutions for the European marked and commercially responsible for creating new Blue Ocean markets. Highlights: Worked on Mobile, Contactless and Remote Payments solutions with multiple European banks. Partnered with colleagues on Biometric payments at Albron Catering Services and Albert Heijn. Leading Digital Wallets together with Rabobank (MiniTix/MyOrder). I Co-created the Dutch government scheme on Electronic Identification (eID). Developed a financial-institute-like solution for SmartGrid energy clearing and settlement for the Dutch energy companies. Invented an international hub for digital e-invoices with Belgian partner Isabel Group.
Part of a three-person team running IBMâs Value Creation Center (VCC) for ABN Amro - one of IBMâs largest global clients. Together we explored how IBMâs full innovation stack could create real business value for the bank. Highlights: built the first NFC mobile payment solution, created a virtual bank branch with a working ATM in Second Life, and experimented with face recognition at ATMs.
Responsible for the IBM Digital Media, Wireless and Retail Emerging Business Opportunities (EBO) in the Benelux. Finding new revenue streams. Successfully implemented the new EBO strategy of the IBM headquarters (USA) in IBM Benelux. Highlights: Invented a new Mobile (NFC) entrance and payment solution at Center Parks France. Worked on the innovative KLM self-service check-in kiosk at Schiphol airport, Implemented narrowcasting solutions at Schiphol Airport and ICParis, implemented the realtime media search solutions at NOB.
Responsible for IBM's Life Sciences Emerging Business Opportunities (EBO) in The Netherlands. Highlight: Worked on the sales and use case delivery of IBM supercomputer at SARA Amsterdam. A Netfinity Cluster Myrinet system that consists off 400 cores (400 GFlop/s peak performance). One use case was LOFAR, a radio telescope composed of thousands of radio antennas that uses the IBM supercomputer and storage (SARA).
