I’m the Global Innovation Leader for Energy at EY (Ernst & Young), helping energy companies develop new business models, growth strategies and ecosystems to support them through the energy transition and beyond. I’m a champion of emerging technologies, such as (agentic) AI, quantum, ledger technology, and IoT, as the digital foundations for innovation. I lead our EY 'Energy Innovation Hub' where we advise clients on strategy and M&A, and on developing the assets, services and models that underpin the evolving energy transition ecosystem, platforms and solutions. I enjoy bringing my extensive experience of the power and utilities sector to clients across a wide range of industries including oil and gas. I apply insights and know-how across innovation management, venturing, emerging technologies, digital strategy and transformation to help companies position at the forefront of the energy transition. I’m passionate about helping clients reap the business benefits of innovation, working with them to co-create technologies and put them into practice, with a focus on execution. Thierry Mortier started as analyst at Andersen Consulting on 15th August 2000. He was transferred on 1st September 2011 from the office in Brussels to the office in Düsseldorf serving the Energy & Utilities market in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
