The bank is dedicated to International Trade and majority owned by 19 Arab Countries with a 47% ownership of Crédit Agricole CIB. Through a disciplined capital allocation approach, Thierry restored the ROE. Post OFAC settlement and ACPR investigations, he managed actively the regulators expectations, the international sanctions programs and enhanced the compliance set-up.
Thierry and his team advised Corporates , Financial Institutions and Governments across the region. He developed the Crédit Agricole MEA franchise with leading positions in IPOs, Green bond issues, Debt Capital Markets, Sharia financings and Export Credit Financings. He opened new subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Set-up and lead Crédit Agricole CIB worldwide teams delivering International Trade and GTB solutions to Corporates, Financial Institutions and Ministries of Finance. The new division offers global International Trade solutions from Export Finance, Commodity Trade Finance, Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management and FX.
Post the European liquidity crisis, Thierry refocused the bank ressources dedicated to the key global clients and countries, leading to a sustainable growth of revenues for CA-CIB. He and his team developed the Green Bonds offer to Corporates, Financial Institutions and Governments, making CA-CIB the world leader for the next ten years.
Thierry set-up and lead the Financial Institutions Group for Crédit Lyonnais with presence in 20 countries.
