Toulouse, Occitanie, France
- Be the Distribution Centers (DC) lead in the SAP instance migration project: design and conduct tests, manage go-live and hypercare - Build and deploy in all 7 DC a Power BI dashboard on transport to automate invoice calculation and get KPI - Deploy in all 7 DC two new systems: Fabriq for lean management and Opalean for pallets management
- Manage 50 workers in the Toulouse warehouse - Ensure daily operations: reception, storage, order preparation and shipment with external carriers - Improve performance through KPIs on Security, Quality, Costs, Delivery, Motivation, Nature - Manage optimization projects in the warehouse: donation of products that cannot be sold anymore, storage in the warehouse to improve productivity
Apply Business Process Management methodology and work closely with IT teams. 2 main objectives: - standardize supply chain processes across AMERA (Asia, Middle East, Russia, Africa) - ensure IT systems can support standard processes. [Process standardization] - Define standard supply chain processes with KPIs and RACI through policies and SOP (inputs from multiple stakeholders): demand management, inventory sizing, replenishment, back orders management, stock consignment. - Lead 1-week workshop with process stakeholders from several AMERA regions to align on standard processes and decide of process implementation plan. - Lead process pilots in 3 countries to implement standards processes. [Operations audits] - Conduct 1-week or 2-week on-site operations audits prior to new IT systems deployment: in UK, Philippines, Korea, Indonesia. - Deliver process and IT gap analysis to identify upcoming challenges. - Make recommendations: organization change, process change, IT enhancement. [IT enhancement] - Write functional specifications for IT enhancement. - Share and communicate with IT teams functional needs to ensure a good understanding. - Validate that IT delivery meets the functional needs.
Working in the headquarters of AMERA (Asia, Middle-East, Russia, Africa) in the Operations department. AMERA is a challenging, highly diversified and fragmented zone (120 manufacturing sites). [BI systems] Responsible for the operations BI systems in AMERA: - understanding production managers and regional operations directors needs to design dashboards used daily by them (with QlikView). - managing 1 QlikView developer: conducting performance reviews, building personal development plan, balancing workload - working closely with IT teams to make the BI tools evolve and therefore improve the level/relevance of analysis that can be achieved - automating some reporting tasks (with ERP teams for instance) to improve the reliability of the data as well as the scope covered - built an e-learning (with a supplier for the platform and the pedagogical approach) to popularize a powerful but rather complicated KPI based on manufacturing costs. [Adhoc analysis & continuous improvement] - built a simulation of the unit manufacturing costs to understand the consequences of decisions on a long-term basis - designed a first version of a production layout for a new production site - created a tool to calculate in a standardized way and visualize all the production sites capacities - leading the implementation of the monitoring of some production equipment utilization (EER) - took part in a 2-day operations excellence audit in a production site in Malaysia - conduct alone a 2-day operations excellence audit in a production site in Vietnam. [CAPEX] - leading manufacturing CAPEX reviews with the regional operations directors of AMERA - challenging and proposing some solutions to optimize the investments.
Final year internship in logistics: Developing a simulation of the baggage handling system (BHS) of the new airport in Dubai using Automod in order to size the BHS.
Gap year internship in production (as an Operational Excellence analyst) : • Creating and implementing a measure of the reliability of production lines regarding to the plan. Highlighting levers and methods to improve reliability • Analysing data and taking part of the weekly reviews of canning lines to improve their performance
Gap year internship in quality. Managing my own 6-month project to create a lens defect library useful to both production and technical support teams: • analysing varnish defects through experiments, microscope observation and contacts with experts • building a user-friendly Google Site to display a defect library • training some people to support me (microscope analysis) and some people to use the defect library • implementing in production a defect analysis methodology based on the Google Site to improve yields
