Research project in fluid dynamics: investigation of fluid behaviour in a cylindrical nozzle for low Reynolds numbers. For this project I worked in collaboration with local Phd students concerning the theory on gas dynamics and on Star CCM + and Achieve softwares for fluid dynamics simulations.
For this six month mission I worked autonomously involving analytical (problem solving), organisational and reporting skills. Anticipation of repairs due to corrosion in order to propose possible design solutions which could be implemented during upcoming A380 Nose Landing Gears Overhauls. Analysis of in service experience of other Long Range programs: - Selection of "critical parts". - Root cause analysis of corrosion for each critical part. - Design comparison between Long Range and A380 Nose Landing Gear. - Study of the behaviour of A380 Landing Gear parts based on previous critical parts root causes study.
