Lectured and tutored bright young talents in specialized school of Mathematics and Science. Developed IT awareness and skills among students as the teacher in charge of the Computer Club. Released Windows Mobile application that showed Singapore Traffic camera images. (Before the general popularization of smartphones). Identified important security flaws in school website and a Ministry sponsored web site that could lead to compromise of sensitive personnel information and financial losses, and worked with vendor to fix the issues raised.
Co-founded local IT security services startup as I was very interested in Cyber Security. Drove IT security research direction in the new startup. Conducted penetration testing and security auditing for local businesses such as financial and commercial firms, and developed technical solutions. Developed IT security governance and policies.
Lectured Junior College (17 – 18 year old) students in Statistic, Mathematics and Further mathematics, involving a large variety of topics such as Leadership, Motivation, Life Skills and preparation for working careers. Established relationships with distinguished mathematicians from tertiary institutions to deliver talks and discussions in college. Involved in IT department as a programmer and developed database application for management of scores and academic results.
